NEEDLEWORK
Sewing, knitting, crochet and embroidery:
Learn to make your own winter accessories like hat, scarves, etc., or enhance any of your favorite fabric by adding hand-work and embroidery or know the basics of how to mend, sew, resize your clothing and to create your own blouse, shirts. This class allows you to bring your imagination and ideas to life.

INDIAN COOKING
Want to eat authentic, simple, healthy, and traditional home-cooked meals?
Come, learn to cook, explore, and savor the delights of India!

This class is not a demo class, we teach you real-life skills, to cook from scratch to the delicious dish tasting and sharing. In each class, you will be able to make a dish or two from start to finish. You will be able to savor and share your creation with others.
Skills taught: Full-fledged age-appropriate hands-on cooking from appetizers, main dish, side dishes & dessert.

Things to bring to class:
1) Smock or Apron
2) Book and pencil to take notes.
3) An open mind to learn and create new skills & dishes.

A list of ingredients is provided prior to the online class. In-person classes, the teacher will provide all the ingredients needed.
About Teacher

Mahalakshmi Vasudevan is a long time teacher. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications.
Maha has a great passion for Math and Science , also have hands on experience teaching public school kids as a substitute teacher.

She loves to teach Loom Knitting, Crochet, Sewing, Embroidery.
​
She also loves to cook. Her cooking is simple, delicious, and healthy. She is willing to share the tips and techniques that were passed down to her from mom and grandmother. She feels Indian cooking is time tested, flavorful, colorful, healthy, and very satisfying.
