PREETHA NARAYANAN

Dance Instructor

Preetha Narayanan is a Bharatanatyam dancer, instructor, performer, and yoga teacher based in Austin, Texas. She trained in Bharatanatyam under Smt. Sowmya Kumaran at Nrithya Sangeeth and completed her Arangetram in 2013. What began as a childhood love for dance grew into years of teaching, performing, mentoring students, and helping bring productions to life. Over the years, Preetha has supported students as a substitute instructor and assistant manager, guiding them through foundational technique, choreography, rehearsals, performances, and stage preparation. She has also served as Dance Program Manager at Kalapriya Center for Indian Performing Arts, where she supported dance and yoga programming for children, teens, and adults.

At Samspra Academy, all registered students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at least twice a year, during the Winter Performance and Annual Performance Day.

Additionally, students can participate in optional seasonal performances through the Samspra community outreach programs at various events and festivals. To take part in these outreach opportunities, students should inform their class teacher in advance.
