COURSE DESCRIPTION

Carnatic flute at Samspra Academy introduces  students to the sacred sound of Indian classical music. With ties to Hindu stories and tradition, the flute is seen as an instrument of devotion, peace, and inner joy. In this course, students will learn traditional ragas and proper technique while also gaining an understanding of its cultural significance.

At Samspra Academy, all registered students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills at least twice a year, during the Winter Performance and Annual Performance Day.

 

Additionally, students can participate in optional seasonal performances through the Samspra community outreach programs at various events and festivals. To take part in these outreach opportunities, students should inform their class teacher in advance.
